Normative data
Normative data is usually collated by the Government or Industry specialists as a way of analysing average test results. The tests are usually completed by a variety of individuals and compared in terms of such factors as age, gender, and ethnicity.
Normative data for the Sit and Reach test
The following are national norms for 16 to 19 year olds.

You may be able to find test results on your website, or you could ask a coach or physiologist in your sport. Once you have defined excellence, look at your own test results and compare where you are at in terms of excellence. Email your findings to your tutor. |
