Power

Power is a skill-related component of fitness.

POWER:

Is the ability to generate and use muscle strength quickly.

    Power can only be developed by using advanced training methods and is usually focussed on by athletes in specific sports. Power is important for taekwondo athletes when kicking their opponent, for boxers delivering a punch, or a hockey player striking a hockey ball.
